Our Story

Christopher and Olivia first laid eyes on each other as young 19-year-olds in their small University of Vermont Honors College course.  Chris was a seemingly over-studious, quiet BioChem major who didn't care much for history, while Olivia was the talkative Economics and History double-major who always had something to say on the previous night’s readings.

It was not until the semester ended, and a new one began that Chris and Olivia ran into each other at a Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) "get-together." Shocked to see another HCOL face out and about,  the two struck up a conversation, immediately sparking Olivia's initial crush.  Chris used to Olivia's already friendly nature and believed himself to be stuck in the friend zone, completely ignoring the four-plus month spike in Olivia's Medical Library study hours and FIJI event attendances. 

Despite it all, it was not until after Olivia asks Chris to be her date to the Tri Delta formal, and a kiss in the photo booth that  Chris realizes she may see him as more than a friend, asking her to be his girlfriend shortly after.
