Take a scenic drive through the countryside, especially along Route 7 and the Lake Champlain Byway, to witness the vibrant colors of changing leaves.

Button Bay:
Enjoy a 1.4 mile out and back stroll on well-traveled, flat, gravel trail to great views of the Adirondacks. On your way look out for button rocks!
Snake Mountain:
Fabulous 360 views from the top of this 5.4-mile loop up. Bring a map or download an app as this trail is not well marked. Well worth the journey!
Mt Philo:
A UVM classic! Check out this lovely 2.2 mile with beautiful views from the top. Gradual incline and great for all ages and abilities.
Mt Mansfield:
Peak Vermont love here! Seriously, get high, the highest you can in VT! This 7.7mile climb will have you swooning with breathtaking views. Cycling Take your bike on the road or explore mountain biking trails in the area. The crisp fall air and scenic views make cycling a fantastic way to enjoy the season.
Wine and Cider Tasting Vermont is known for its craft breweries, wineries, and cideries. Sample some of the local offerings at tasting rooms in the region.
